Bike the Trail is a fun, family day out and an opportunity to ride the beautiful Hutt River trail in a fully supported event with great company.  Bike the Trail 2020 is happening Sunday 23 February.  Registrations will open in early December.

At Bike the Trail you'll follow the flow of the water to the mouth of the Hutt River at Seaview.  Your group can start at Harcourt Park in Upper Hutt and ride the full 25km distance, or start in Stokes Valley for a 12.5km journey.

Register online, then pick up your registration pack at our event partner, Mitre 10 MEGA Upper Hutt or Mitre 10 MEGA Petone. This includes your participant stickers for your bike and helmet.  These stickers are your ticket to FREE return transport, pre-event snacks and more. The first 50 people to pick up their pack will get a free gift.

You can wait and register on the day, but only pre-registered participants will be eligible for the major spot prizes.

There's also a colouring competition running throughout February, with both spot prizes and major prizes available.

Start at Harcourt Park (25km)

You're doing the whole thing! This event is very popular, and the start will be staggered to reduce everyone’s waiting time.

People who want to ride more quickly will start first, while those who would like to take their time, look at the scenery and may be riding with younger children start later.  You choose which start group is best for you during registration.

Make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes before your group starts for the event briefing.  There's great coffee, and plenty of activities onsite.
